Dia Huszar

My name is Dia. I've been a language teacher for almost 20 years. I earned my MA at the
University of Vienna in 2012, and I’ve been traveling the world teaching German and English
ever since.

I like to think of myself as a funny teacher. Making learners comfortable is crucial for the
confidence needed to speak a new language, and I find humor is the quickest way to ease
up those inhibitions about pronunciation or vocabulary. I'm a language learner myself, so I
completely understand the challenges and frustrations that come with this process.
I can drill grammar structures with you, and prep for that one exam you need to pass next
week, but my favorite method is learning through topics of personal interest. So don’t be
surprised if we’ll incorporate things from your life, such as songs, novels, or even board
games!
