Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is a college- and career-preparatory mathematics course that builds upon the concepts developed in Algebra 1 and Geometry. Students deepen their understanding of algebraic reasoning by exploring polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, radical, and quadratic functions while developing advanced problem-solving and analytical skills. The course emphasizes multiple representations of mathematical relationships, including graphs, tables, equations, and verbal descriptions, enabling students to model and interpret real-world situations.

Throughout the course, students investigate systems of equations and inequalities, sequences and series, complex numbers, probability, statistics, and introductory trigonometric concepts.
