Ingrid Godfrey

Hello! My name is Ingrid Godfrey and I love teaching. I currently teach 7th grade science in person, I am the assistant swim team coach for our high school and middle school teams, and I lead our school's Junior and Senior Envirothon teams! Teaching is something I was always passionate about but I didn't choose it as a career right away. I first started working in Public Health and even served in the Peace Corps teaching health education in the Republic of Moldova. My approach to learning is multifaceted. I work to plan engaging lessons that have the students as main characters invested in their learning. I work hard to make sure my assignments meet all my learners' needs. I love science, math, and hands-on learning so I share that enthusiasm with my students every day. I am looking forward to offering courses of General Science, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus!  When I'm not teaching or coaching, I love spending time with my three dogs, Tiki, Tank, and Tizzy and going on long hikes.
