Kidzania and car rentals in Seoul, South Korea

From Gapyeong, we travelled by car to Seoul. Public transportation is excellent in Korea, so it is easy to travel via train, bus, taxi, etc, but with little kids with us, we always rent a car. Driving is very easy in Korea, and road rules are basically the same as in North America. You do need an international drivers license. Travel tip! I
recommend renting a car with a smaller car rental place near the airport as it is much more economic compared to the big places. In fact, the car rental place will leave your car in the airport parking with the keys inside, and all you need to do is walk out of the airport and drive off. To return it, you just leave it in the same place with the keys inside. I love the safety of Korea!
We spent our first day in Seoul letting the kids get some energy out in Kidzania, which is a play place for kids to try out different jobs and do real things. Our kids made cider, sausages, and Lotteria burgers. They also worked in a vet and customs screening agency. We finished with some kpop training! It was a little pricey but well worth it. We will definitely go back.
